Yemen Emirates Company for Oil & Gas Services Holds Training Course

Believing that success lies in the safety of human capital and its efficiency in protecting the environment and society, Yemen Emirates Company for Oil & Gas Services Ltd., a company of the Universal Group, held a training course in Occupational Health and Safety and Social and Environmental Management for the fuel project team and the contractors in fieldwork.

The course was held at the training hall of the Universal Yemen for Logistic Support & Construction, also one of the Group's companies. It lasted for three (3) days from 4th to 6th February 2024 for a total of 9 training hours and it was delivered by expert instructors. The goal of this training was to enhance awareness of the importance of complying with occupational health and safety and environmental standards while performing work tasks. Through such courses, the company aims to protect workers, environment and community safety. The training also seeks to ingrain and enhance skills regarding occupational health and safety and ensure compliance with global work standards.

The training covered a wide range of topics including risk management, safety assessment, accident prevention procedures, handling hazardous materials, and environmental and social protection practices. These courses reflect the company's efforts to promote responsible business practices and meet customer requirements with efficiency and professionalism.
