Universal Group Celebrates Its 40th Anniversary

Universal Group, a leading business group, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The forty years the Group has spent in business have been full of successes and achievements. During this time, the Group achieved outstanding success in implementing and managing many major and complex projects throughout the Republic of Yemen, contributing to enhancing its position as a leading group.

Universal Group has been built on a strong legacy extending over forty years of innovation, excellence and dedication in providing the highest levels of quality and value. The Group was established in 1983 by the late businessman Mr. Alwan Saeed Al-Shaibani, may Allah have mercy on him, and his friend and partner Mr. Omar Mohammed Omar Yaqoob. Since then it has grown and developed to become one of the pioneering business group with a wide network of subsidiary companies operating within specialized sectors, including commercial, construction, logistics, travel, postal services and shipping in the Republic of Yemen and extending to several regional countries.

This occasion is an opportunity for the Group, its cadres and leaders to reaffirm their commitment to excellence and to strengthen cooperation with customers and partners for success and expand its customer base and achieve further success in the future.
