The Launch Ceremony of the Yemeni Migration-Reciprocal Impacts Study

The launch ceremony of the “Mutual Impacts of Yemeni Migration” and its website was held this morning, Thursday, June 22, 2023. The idea of inaugurating and sponsoring this study goes back to the Late national businessman, Mr. Alwan Saeed Al-Shibani, may Allah have mercy on him, the founder of Universal Group of Companies and Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development. The event was attended by the General Manager of Universal Group, Mr. Jamal Omar, the General Manager of Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development, Mr. Sadeq Al-Jama'ei, the Late’s grandson, Mr. Bashar Wael, and some of the major group managers including Mr. Ahmed Abdulmalik, in addition to the study team, a group of literati, writers and prominent social figures.

This study consists of 9 parts aiming to convey the honorable image of Yemeni migration and their achievements in the immigration land, in addition to highlighting the economic, political and social achievements and the positive impacts left by Yemenis wherever they land.

The ceremony included traditional songs on the subject matter of the study "Migration" and a presentation of a documentary video for the Late Mr. Alwan Al-Shibani about migration, may Allah have mercy on him. In addition to the participation of some prominent Yemeni figures abroad remotely, some members of the study team talked about their experiences relating to this study and read some of it.

At the end of the ceremony, everyone who contributed and participated in this study was honored, starting from the main team of the study to the supporting team.
