Al Khair Foundation For Social Development (AKF)

AKF is dedicated to establishing institutes and conducting educational programs with the aim of enhancing literacy levels and providing training for youth.

Since its establishment in 2009 - by the Universal Group as part of its social responsibility - AKF has dedicated all its efforts to offering and conducting free educational and training programs in various aspects of knowledge to those eligible, qualified and most in need. AKF also works towards the establishment of charitable educational institutions with the aim of promoting education and disseminating the value of learning especially among the rural and disadvantaged communities.

Free of any charge, the foundation provides sustainable, meaningful and objective training opportunities to a wide and untapped category of Yemenis. This training contributes to the rehabilitation of many youths of both sexes and in turn merges with the overall development process of the country. These youths are empowered to obtain real employment opportunities in local and regional markets and to start their own businesses as entrepreneurs.
